Howdy Jacqui - have planning to send you a messages all week. Am loving following - and I love that you went in Los Ojos instead of chasing your time. Life is about living, not just winning - it's about the journey. Once you've won, where do you go from there?! When you read this will have finished(!!) the Long March and then the pizza is so close you can nearly smell it. You are undertaking an incredible feat this year and it's a pleasure watching you achieve it!

Jacqui. Juts remember the marketing phrase Nike used in the last century - "There is no finish line." Keep going. Good luck.

Always love your blogs Jacqui. The kids have written words of wisdom for you but I left them at home so will post them later in the week. The main theme from most of them was they all would like to see what you have to carry in your pack. Your nausea is probably the altitude so take care. Look forward to reading about the rest of your journey.

Hey Jacqui! Good to see you are already making some fashion statements!! Hope you were able to stay warm last night and enjoy Camp 1. It looks like from the updates that you are crushing Stage 1 with the title of First Lady. Amazing way to start out! Well done! Day 2 was one of my favourites so enjoy those slot canyons and awesome terrain tomorrow! Cheering you on from afar! XXX
